Shipping plans and hardware:
We ship our plans via USPS, UPS or Fed-Ex for the best rate we can find. We do not offer same day or overnight shipping. If you have a particular shipper you prefer for your area just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you. We make every effort to ship your items as soon as possible but we are not Amazon! If something is going to delay your order we will let you know. Typically orders ship within 2-3 days.
Our kits are shipped via Freight and require custom quotes. Feel free to contact us for a quote prior to ordering. We are not shipping our kits outside the US and Canada at this time.
Kits are typically shipped to a private residence but you can also pick up your kit at the nearest destination service center which saves approximately $180 (fees for residence delivery and liftgate). To find out what your destination service center is click here and enter 28515 (Bayboro, NC) as the Origin and your zip as the destination.
Our kits are backed in brutally strong OSB plywood crates designed to get your parts to you without damage. Our crate design has gone through quite a few iterations to make it strong enough to handle freight shipping. We don't just stack your parts on a pallet. For most kits we ship epoxy strapped on top of the crate. For larger kits or larger epoxy orders we can drop ship direct to you.
Kit Pickup at the B&B workshop:
Picking up your kit directly from our workshop is a great way to save on shipping and ask questions or just visit the birthplace of your kit. For kits picked up at our shop we still prefer to pack them in a crate unless you plan to transport in a vehicle such as a minivan. Our crates can be loaded right into the back of a pickup truck or U-haul trailer with our tractor.
Because every kit is made to order we cannot accept refunds for kits. Kit deposits are non-refundable once production starts. For products, rigging and hardware, we accept returns of new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.
