About Us

Who are we?

Founders, Graham and Carla Byrnes have cultivated a worldwide following for their beautiful and efficient designs over their forty plus years in the yachting industry. Today B&B support their builders all over the world and continues to produce plans and kits while constantly developing new designs. We have a full line of plans and kits for all levels of builder.

Graham Byrnes: Lead designer and head of product testing (taking his boat on trips)

Carla Byrnes: Local outreach coordinator. 

Beth Bucksot: (2010-Present) Partner and head of economic development in Pamlico County. 

Alan Stewart: (2010-Present) Partner and lead engineer. Head of product development and production. 

Nate Jastram: (2013-Present) CNC operator, workshop manager, expert fisherman.

The workshop:
This is where the kits are made. Located on the Bay River, we have a 100 foot dock and a boat ramp. Bring your finished boat by and go sailing. We would love to see it. We are usually there 5 days a week from about 9-4. Let us know you're coming to make sure someone will be there.
