Remember that you will also need a "solar charge controller" to manage the power coming from your solar panel. When the battery is full, this device opens the circuit to prevent over charging. You should only consider a charge controller that has MPPT (Maximum power point tracking) because they are the most efficient. There are several great options listed below.
