    Digital Plan Downloads — Policy & Terms

    Our digital plans are non-refundable. You’ll sign our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before download. Please email it to info@bandbkitboats.com Your license is personal and good for one completed boat per design. We assign you a hull number and provide builder support. Files are usually delivered as a single .DXF; you’ll export/organize sheets for toolpathing. No sharing, reposting, or re-selling of the files.

    What you’re buying

    • A digital plan set for a specific B&B Yacht Designs model (typically a single .DXF containing the nested plyood sheets).

    • A personal, non-transferable license to build one (1) boat of that design.

    • Builder support from our team for questions about the files and your build.

    NDA (required before download)

    • Before we release the files, you’ll sign our simple Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

    • The NDA protects our IP and confirms you won’t distribute the files or derivatives.

    • Return a signed scan or clear photo of the NDA; once received, we’ll enable your download.

    License & permitted use

    • Personal use only. You may use the files to fabricate parts and build one boat.

    • Modify for your own build: You may make reasonable modifications to parts (for fit, material, or personal preferences).

    • CNC fabrication: You may share the files with a single fabricator you hire solely to cut your parts for your hull number. That fabricator must treat the files as confidential and delete them after cutting.

    Prohibited uses

    • No redistribution: Do not share, post, email, upload, or otherwise distribute the files or screenshots.

    • No resale or sublicensing: You may not sell or license the files, derivatives, or toolpaths.

    • No multi-build use: Building additional boats requires purchasing additional hull licenses (contact us for pricing, typically 50% the cost of the standard plan).

    Refunds & cancellations

    • All digital plan sales are final and non-refundable.

    • If we’re unable to deliver the files or you were charged in error (e.g., duplicate order), we’ll make it right.

    Hull numbers

    • Each plan purchase is issued a unique hull number.

    • Use of the files is tied to that hull number and one completed hull.

    • If you later decide to start a second boat, please purchase an additional license.

    Delivery & file format

    • Files are delivered via download link after your signed NDA is received either via instant download or emailed via dropbox download link. 

    Support & updates

    • Builder support is included. If you hit a snag, email us and we’ll help.

    • If we issue a critical correction, we’ll send you an updated file or instructions.

    Backups & security

    • You may keep personal backups (local/cloud) for your own use.

    • Please store them securely and do not sync/share into public folders.

      Transfer of license

      • If you sell the partially built or completed hull, the physical boat and its assigned hull number transfer, but the digital files do not.

      • The buyer must purchase a new license to obtain the files.
