Product Description
All plan sheets for construction plus full size mylar templates (mylar templates come as two sheets 23′ x 24″ which are taped together lengthwise using strike up marks on 12″ centers.). Plan sheets include nine ARCH D size full color construction drawings showing every detail of construction. There is no table of offsets because the full size templates make them redundant. Trace the parts directly onto your plywood and cut out with a jig saw. Included are full size outlines for all of the parts that we offer in the CNC kit. The frames and bulkheads and drawn with the notches located and sized for the side stringers. Stations are given in halves. When tracing your parts on the wood you will simply flip the patterns or make a scrap template to mirror the frame outline for port/starboard. The use of the template patterns eliminates any need for lofting and ensures that your framework will be accurate and true.
*Mylar is drafting film, which while expensive, is totally stable and practically tear proof. It is practically transparent, making it easy to orient on your plywood grain and allows for it to be used for both sides on one sheet.

Complete Plywood Kit: ~$5500.00
This is “THE WORKS” kit (all parts as seen below). It includes everything in the Jig kit and all the CNC cut bottom planking as well as all of the additional plywood listed. Includes, CNC cut bottom planking, Swim Platform, Cockpit sole panels, Deck and coaming panels are cut slightly oversize to allow for fitting to the “as built” boat.
NOTE: In order to ship the nine sheets of 4mm plywood side planking we will rip the sheets in half longways so as to fit them in the shipping box. These will be further ripped down into strips to plank the sides. If you will be picking your kit up at our shop, we will gladly give you the full sheets.
Optional Console Kit: ~$296
The same console kit that is available for the Ocracoke 20 is a perfect match for the 20B. This kit consists of all the CNC cut 9mm plywood parts to build the console. Not included are any parts for a T-top as that is left to the builder if desired.
Fuel Tank: ~$400
There are plenty of Fuel tanks out there that would work fine in the Ocracoke 20B. We found the Moeller FT4704 looks like it would be a good fit. It has a vee’d bottom to allow it clear the bottom of the hull and not cut into the framing. The middle of the center frame is cut away and replaced after tank installation. This tank allows for 13″ of fore and aft movement (aft for 90hp, fwd for heavier engines).
Additional Notes:
Solid wood:
Our kit options do not include the solid wood for stringers and cleats that you will need. We prefer our builders to locally source this material and rip into long lengths. It is not practical for us to ship these long pieces on a boat of this size. If you are picking up your kit from our shop we would be happy to let you select pine boards from our stock to use for your stringers.
Jig Frame:
The Jig frame is to be made of standard dimensional lumber which can be purchased at any local hardware store.
Epoxy and fiberglass supplies:
We can supply your epoxy and fiberglass needs. Just ask.
Hardware/systems:
Builder is to source their own motor, fuel tank, trailer, etc.
